Sir George W. Buckley was Chairman, President and CEO of 3M Company from 2005 to 2012. Prior to 3M, since June 2000, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brunswick Corp., having previously served as President of Mercury Marine Group, Brunswick’s largest division.

Roger is the former Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for 3M. He was the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Global M & A. In Roger's tenure as Chief Strategy Officer, he led the company through more than 80 M&A transactions including strategic investments, acquisitions of public and private companies. Roger also led 3M corporate strategic planning across its 38 businesses and identification of 3M target markets.
In his 25 year career, Craig has completed over 100 corporate transactions, both as a principal and as an advisor. He has worked with middle market businesses and their owners to grow and ultimately exit their investments. Craig's experience includes buy and sell side representation, private capital raising, business valuation, and strategic planning.
Marschall Smith has spent 35 years as a corporate lawyer with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. He was senior vice president and general counsel of Archer Daniels Midland Co., 3M Company and Brunswick Corporation.
Jim Seifert is an experienced corporate executive with a wide range of transactional and operational experience. As General Counsel of three NYSE listed companies, he managed large staffs and won national recognition for innovative approaches to solve corporate needs. He lead acquisitions of companies both in the United States and abroad, and supported the integration of those acquisitions into his parent companies.
Alain Thiry was born and raised in Liege, Belgium where he received a Baccalaureate in Business and Economics at the Athenee Royal de Seraing. He attended college in Brussels for one year and after receiving a scholarship at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, Thiry received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Management and Marketing. He later received an Executive MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Art Institute of Colorado.
Tom is a strategy and marketing professional with sixteen years experience in 3M’s Healthcare and Consumer businesses, as well as its Corporate Strategy group. He has deep expertise leading business acceleration programs involving new product development, partnerships and acquisitions. He also has P&L management experience in 3M’s Post-itTM business as well as in 3M Oral Care, a Class II medical device business.
